The primary focus of T2Women is one-to-one ministry in a variety of contexts. Each T2Woman meets with other women to read the Bible and encourage them to know Christ and grow in their faith.
They will ideally have 4 women that they are discipling for each 6-8 hours of ministry that they commit to.
Of these 4 women:
- one should be a non Christian woman that they are praying for opportunities to share the gospel with
- one will be a new woman they meet at church and are aiming to connect into the life of the church
- one will be a Christian woman they are meeting with to read the bible and encourage them in their Christian growth
- one will be a woman who is serving in another area at the church (e.g. a youth group leader, Sunday school teacher, music team leader).
They may only be meeting with two women on a regular basis, but they will have two others that they are praying for and being intentional in their relationship with.
They also journal their experiences and meet up with a T2Women’s Trainer to reflect on progress and be given further training. This further training can be delivered in a variety of modes on a variety of topics, including: regional training days; online forums; listening to online seminars; reading discussion papers or Christian books; or discussing doctrine and ministry issues together.
